From my experiences, big isn't gauranteed to be better. You can easily 'ride 3 hours' on a CB250, but I know what you're saying. If you like Suzuki and V-twins, maybe consider their Marauder? Checkout www.cycletrader.com and see what's for sale in your area, then go ride a few.
